Amber Koppen
As a passionate dressage rider, it didn’t take Amber long to learn more about the locomotive system as a horse veterinarian. Why does a horse become lame, or why does it get injured? Is it something we can prevent? And how do we prevent it from happening again?
Amber studied osteopathy, chiropractics, acupuncture and dry needling. Thanks to her knowledge of riding, the exercises and the impact of training on the horse, combined with her veterinary knowledge, Amber can analyze where a horse is struggling. Amber supports horses at the highest levels in multiple disciplines like dressage, western, jumping, endurance. By recognizing and correcting movement asymmetry and limitation at an early stage, she can help prevent injuries and the horse can reach a higher level in a responsible way. Amber herself is an active amazone in the Big Tour.
To reach a broader audience and share her knowledge more effectively, Amber set up the e-learning platform Dressage2Learn together with Bastiaan.
